I’m not sure what happened, but it definitely sounds like something was off! I’ve made these quite a few times without having that problem. Maybe add even more flour next time? Leave out some of the honey so that the maple flavor is stronger and the dough is less moist?

This dough was very sticky even with some added flour, and even after chilling to try and firm it up. Cookies spread out a ton, needed extra cooking time, and still seemed greasy and very soft and cakey. What could be the issue? I followed the recipe, and made 2 other cookie recipes the same day with no issues. Please help! These did taste good, but was all honey and almost no maple flavor. Thx
