In reply to Debbie. I haven't tried to make this recipe healthier, but you could try reducing the sugar. You could swap out all or part of the oil with applesauce to reduce calories. The taste will be the same, but the texture will be different.

I haven’t made these because the ingredients are to much of butter, sugar etc. Is there a more healthy version? I love anything lemon.

In reply to Hannah Brazeau. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. To freeze, place in a single layer in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 2 months.
