Chewy Chocolate Malt cookies made with classic cookie ingredients, including malt powder & topped with a chocolate malt ball! Great malt flavor in these unique, chocolatey whopper candy cookies.
Prep: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside.
Dough: Cream softened butter, brown sugar, malted chocolate powder, and vanilla extract in a medium-sized bowl. Add in egg and mix until incorporated.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Whisk ingredients together. Stir dry ingredients into the butter mixture until blended.
Form 1-inch balls and place them evenly on a lined baking sheet. Press one Whopper candy into the center of each cookie dough ball.
Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes oruntil the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve the cookies warm or at room temperature with a glass of cold milk. Enjoy the rich, chocolatey flavor and the subtle hint of malt in every bite!
