Ingredients
1
cup
all purpose flour
½
cup
butter
softened
½
cup
brown sugar
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
¼
teaspoon
salt
½
cup
semi-sweet chocolate chips
(I like to use the mini ones!)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Spread the flour evenly over a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet.
Add the butter, brown sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat on a medium-high speed for 3 minutes, or until pale and creamy.
Add the flour and salt to the stand mixer and mix until combined and a dough begins to form. Fold through the chocolate chips.
Use a cookie scoop to scoop the dough, rolling into balls and placing on a baking sheet.
Transfer the cookie dough bites to the fridge to firm up for at least 1 hour before enjoying or transferring to an airtight container.
