Ingredients
Cookie Dough

Icing

powdered sugar

tbsp
water

tbsp
corn syrup
Instructions
Cookies
In a large bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, butter and vanilla using an electric hand whisk.
In another bowl, mix together the flour, salt and spices.
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Whisk to form the dough.
Chill the dough in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spray lightly with cooking spray.
Roll out the dough to ½ inch thick, and cut out cookies into desired shape.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the bottom is lightly golden brown.
Cool on a wire rack to room temperature. Frost and decorate as desired.
How to Make Frosting
In a bowl, combine the powdered sugar, water and corn syrup for the frosting. Whisk until smooth. Add any desired food coloring and whisk again.
Frost cookies as desired and then leave them to dry and set completely before storing.
