Prep: Preheat oven to 375°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and then set them aside
Make dough: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, applesauce, and butter for 2 minutes until combined. Then add in the egg and then mix again.
Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk together until well combined.
Add dry ingredients into butter mixture, mixing as you add. Whisk until a soft dough forms. Stir in raisins and pecans.
