Cherry Jell-O mix

Pure Vanilla

Maraschino Cherries
sliced in half
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a standard baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, using a hand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar for 1 minute. Add in the egg and vanilla. Whip for another minute.
Add in the Jell-O powder and mix for another minute.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
Combine the Jell-O mixture with the flour mixture and mix with the hand mixer until smooth.
Place the cookie mix in a frosting bag, using an Ateco #866 tip, place dollops about an inch apart on the prepared baking sheet.
Place half a cherry in the middle of each cookie, if desired. Be sure to press it into the cookie slightly.
Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and leave on the pan to cool. Enjoy!
