Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicon mats, set them aside.
In a small bowl mash the ripe banana. In a large bowl cream together the sugar and butter. Add the eggs, pudding mix, mashed banana, salt, and baking soda. Stir until smooth.
Add flour 1 cup at a time, mixing until smooth between additions. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-11 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack and enjoy!
