are soft, chewy, and easy to make too! After trying dozens of different chocolate chip cookie recipes, I decided that this one is the absolute best!

Ingredients

cups
granulated sugar
1
cup
brown sugar
2
cups
butter-flavored shortening
4
eggs
2
tsp.
vanilla

tsp.
salt
2
tsp.
baking soda
5
cups
flour
2-3
cups
semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cream together the sugars and shortening with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes.
Add the eggs and vanilla and mix for another 2-3 minutes.
Add the salt, baking soda and flour and continue to mix until well combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Use a cookie scoop to scoop cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet or one lined with a silicone baking mat; place the cookies about 2" apart.
Bake for 10 minutes. Let sit for 4-5 minutes and then transfer to wire cooling racks.

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Cookies can be frozen baked or as cookie dough balls in an airtight container for 2-3 months.
