Microwave Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies are a soft, chewy and delicious treat that is ready in less than 5 minutes! These easy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are made in the microwave, they make a perfect single serving treat!
Prep: In a medium bowl, start by melting the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Dough: Then, add in the brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt and egg in the bowl and stir with a spoon until well combined and smooth. Next, add the flour and oats, mix well. Then fold in the chocolate chips. Proceed to divide the dough into 6 microwave-safe mugs or ramekins like these ones. I used a large cookie scoop and it worked perfectly for getting the exact right amount of batter in each cup.
Cook: Microwave each mug separately, on high power for about 45 seconds. Serve immediately. Enjoy yours with some vanilla ice cream for an even more indulgent treat!
