Ingredients

cocoa powder

milk

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl using an electric mixer or stand mixer cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Next add in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
Mix in baking powder and salt. Next add in your flour.
In a microwave safe bowl melt chocolate chips in 30 second increments until smooth and melted.
Mix the melted chocolate directly into cookie dough until evenly combined.
Drop dough by a the tablespoon onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 7-8 minutes until cookies are just set. Let cook 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
Meanwhile make the icing. In a medium saucepan over medium heat combine butter, cocoa powder and milk whisking until melted.
Once everything is melted and combined remove from heat and whisk in the powdered sugar.
Spoon the warm icing over the cookies. Serve when cookies are completely cool and the icing has set.
