Yellow Cake Mix Cookie Bars made using a cake mix, oil, butter, eggs and plenty of chocolate chips! Simple recipe that transforms a store mix into delicious cookie bars!
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper or spray with nonstick spray. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, butter, and eggs. (Use a wooden spoon and mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Don’t use an electric mixer or it'll overmix the dough.) Stir in most of the chocolate chips and chunks, first reserving a few TBSP worth for topping.
Transfer the dough to the prepared pan. Press down evenly and top with remaining chocolate chips.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges barely begin to brown. Let cool before cutting into squares. Serve & enjoy!
